"LO$ BABY" or "LO$." (By the way the dollar sign is pronounced as an "S" to solve some confusion) This bio will let you know a little more about the artist and the person. First off, let's talk about the origin of his name. It rooted from his birth given name "Karlos Franklin" and evolved to "LOS" as his childhood friends nicknamed him. Instead of coming up with elaborate rap name, the artist decided to go with the name that he was known on the street by. I know your thinking where does the dollar sign come in at? The artist decided "LOS" written looked a little plain, so he changed the "S" to a dollar sign (besides, who doesn't like money?). "BABY" got attached to the artist's name by coincidence, when friends asked what his rap name was going to be. He replied " It's just LOS, baby," from his habit of calling everyone "Baby" it got attached to his name (No, "Lil wayne" or "Weezy f. baby" had nothing to do with it.). The artist is a native of Panama City,FL but he also represents his childhood neighborhood of Lynn Haven or "The Haven/L.H." as he calls it. The artist genre is hip hop/rap and most say his style sounds like a mix between "Notorious B.I.G." and " T.I." with creativity of "Lil Wayne" He is a down south rapper with up north appeal to him.

This artist is the definition of what artist should aspire to be. Not only is he a lyricist, but he is a highly successful business man. He stays true to his origin and never follows trends, which is exactly what is most admirable.

2. Notorious B.I.G.
his delivery is what is most intriguing and the substance of some of his songs attracted me to biggie at a young age. This man lyrics were truly before his time and his songs are still impressive compared to artist music today.

3.T.I.
His word play is crazy and he has a smooth delivery that helped me develop my own style. Also, he stays true to his roots and the hood. The game needs him, So hold your head T.I.

4.Lil Wayne
I'm always amazed by the creativity Wayne. He always comes up with off the wall lyrics and concepts. He also is one of the most persistent artist out there. He floods the street with mixtapes and keeps reinventing himself. Wayne has been doing it for so long, ever since he was a teenager with the hotboys.

5.Lauryn Hill
A beautiful singer, a ill rapper, and an great actress...she was the complete package. She is soulful singer that poured her heart out through her lyrics and her mesmerizing melodies. At the same time she could flow with best, male or female. Her creativity was astonishing and I think she was the best female artist hands down. Best female singer and female rapper, it hurts that she retired so early but her music lives on.

SHORT TERM GOALS
At the moment the artist plans to take over the streets with his new mixtape (The New Breed Vol.1) and while he is working on his debut cd. The combination of LO$ BABY and P.C. THA GREAT will build a platform for other upcoming artist.

LONG TERM GOALS
In the future LO$ BABY plans to release multiple major albums along with his independent releases. Also , he plans to form and get involved in business world. Not only focusing on his music but his entrepreneur side too. He has many investment plans and ideas that are in the works
